Hello, I'm just starting to use coppermine.

I'm using a mac, therefore my FTP client is CyberDuck. I'm using e107 to run my site, and coppermine is a plugin for it. I dragged and dropped the coppermine folder named cpq148 into the plugin folder. When I go to my admin page, coppermine does not show up under my plugin management page, so I can't even install it. I've set the folders "album" and "include" as RWX, and still nothing. I tried renaming folder cpq148 as "Coppermine" in my FTP client, and still nothing. Have I done something wrong?

You're telling me I've done everything correctly in order for coppermine to be working?

Sami

if you want to install coppermine , follow the instruction on documaantation
I don't know plugin system of e107 and I don't have any idea how its work... as we don't have any integration/bridge for e107

I already read through the documentation multiple times. It is coppermine I'm having issues with, and where the issue lies. I thought this was a support forum. I already found another functional gallery in the mean time after being treated the way I was. However, thanks for your lack of information and support. All you should have said the first time is that you didn't have an integration for it, and there is an integration available at http://www.e107coders.org/

Thanks for your ignorance: supporters here are unpaid volunteers. Bmossavari is doing a great support work. You blame him that he doesn't know your third-party tool e107 although he told you exactly that. Being rude to supporters is not a clever strategy.

The documentation clearly says that Coppermine is a standalone app and not a module for some CMS like e107. The bridging section doesn't say that we offer an e107 bridge.

It's people like you who makes supporters stop their work, showing no grattitude at all, leaving the supporter in frustration. Quite frankly, I'd love to see you leave and never return, as I don't like the idea that even morons like you can benefit from the hard work of developers and supporters. >:(
