How do I move albums?

Hi,

Sorry, I'm sure the answer to this is in the FAQ but for some reason I can't find it.

Anyway, on the main page I have 8 albums of pictures. Now I would like to add some albums of music and video.
On my main page I would only like three categorys to be viewable - pictures, music and video.

So how do I move my existing 8 albums so that they become sub-albums within a new album called "pictures"?

sorry, that is not what I mean...

I do not want these albums to be viewable from the main page.

From my main page I want visitors to ONLY be able to see three albums - pictures, music and video.

So what I'm really asking is how do i move my current albums to inside another one?

Edit: OR... how do I make it so that it only shows the category titles on the main page, and not the albums too?

you can't create SUB_album
you should create a category and then add those albums to it and then change Number of albums to display
under config=>Album list view to 3
- a link to your gallery would be helpful

try this
admin mode=>config=>album view list=>Show first level album thumbnails in categories
and set to "No"
in this way there will be no album icon on your category list

But now I have a problem with passwords...

Can I make it so that guests (non-registered users) have to enter a password to access the categorys?

you can set password only for album.
