Question: Are files that are ftp-ed into a 'batch' directory under /albums for use with the batch-upload function supposed to remain in that directory (along with their 'normal' and thumbnail versions? They do in my case, and that makes adding more files later quite a mess.
I think I once noticed that after I added them to an album, they were gone from the 'batch' directory (which is what I would expect).
Then I played with it quite a bit to familiarize myself with the product and now all the 'batch-ed' files remain in the 'batch' directory.
So I started all over, removed all the albums, dropped and deleted the database. Created a new one, removed the lock file and ran the install script again.
Same thing happens: all ftp-ed files, even after applying the 'batch-upload' function, stay in that 'batch' directory. Albums work fine, but I wonder if this is supposed to happen.

Kind Regards,

They stay where you put them. Use folders and subfolders to keep things tidy.

Ah ok! Cool, thanks!
Maybe an idea for the documentation folks to add this as a tip to the 'batch-upload' feature description.
Again, thanks for the super fast response! Much appreciated.

Form the batch-add section of the docs:
QuoteThough not mandatory, it's always a good idea to have a folder structure within the albums folder that reflects or mirrors your coppermine categories and albums.
