Albums from 1.3 to albums 1.4

I wan to know the easiest way to transfer my albums from my old domain and 1.3 albums to my new 1.4 albums on a new domain.  Also, can I move user info?

I think you should take things one at a time.

First, are the domains on different servers are is it simply a domain name change and the files are at the same place?

Whether it is a domain name change or a server move, do that first, keeping the same version. Then troubleshoot to make sure things are working fine. Then do the upgrade.

Domains are on different servers.  I have done the editing on the 1.4.9 to get the look right, all I need is the albums and users info if possible

I had a big problem with the version 1.3 and the album was hacked. So I don't have choice to apgrade to 1.4. I did an upgrade but some problems appeared like the double of flags and language problems. I have difficulties to change language. Do someone has an idea what is happened.

you didn't upgrade compeletely Upgrading doc said:

Delete all leftover, outdated language files in the lang folder that are named XXX-utf-8.php
