Customizing the classic template

Hi!

First of all, i do not know much about php or html, but i have given it a try.. and found most solutions my self.. but there are some few things i need help to find out where and what to change to make it look like i want it to. So please help me out here:

1. When users choose a spesific album, they should get directly to the filmstrip show, shoing the first picture in the album first.. instead of showing the index files for this album.. and the choosing one of the pictures to get to the filmstrip Is this possible and how can it be done?

2. As i told you, i have based my gallery on the "classic" theme and i need to remove the space between the frame and the title and also the space between the "powered by..." and the frame on the bottom.. is this possible and how can it be done? Thsi is to make the gallery fit better to my page and to make it not tak up so much space

3. The album list shows the following details: "6 files, last added date 29.sept 06". How can i remove this? To make it more clean and to have more albums fit into the gallery on one page..

4. Does coppermine (by desig/plugin or something) have the possibility to make square thumbs? How?

5. When viewing the pictures, there is a possibility to show details of the files by pressing a button. I have used plugins to remove these fields, but on field is still availible, and that is the file size.. how can it be removed? (Or can the details button be removed?)

6. The gallery is centered always except when the albumlist is viewed.. (take a look at http://www.tjelle.info/redirect/cpg/thumbnails.php?album=4) then the right margin is larges than the left one.. How can this be fixed?

I have searched the forum as usual, and i have tried editing the html file in the theme folder, but i have not enought knowledge about adding new code to make this work.. or i cannot find out what other files must be edited to make this work.. so maybe there is a solution for some of these questions before in this forum.. if that's the case, i am sorry to have posted it here.. But i really do need this help because i just recently stopped using another gallery because it was in lack of options.. and i like the way coppermine is built.. So i was hoping.. could anyone.. please help me.. I should propably have had a "dummies book" about html and php, but there is no time for me to read them because the site will have to be up and running on this monday..

I would be grateful to get at least some answeres on this within that time.. i know this is no hotline but.. help!
