Modifying the Classic theme

Hi!

I have started to use the Classic theme that came with copermine 1.4.9.

I need an adjustment.. is it possible to make the gallery skip the thumbnail page and instead go directly to the display image page (starting on the first picture in the album)? And how exactly can this be done?

So this is what i need:

Choose category -> choose album -> view display image

instead of

Choose category -> choose album -> choose thumbnail -> view display image

Well, if this http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=35999.0 is what you refer to, then there is no working solutions here.. or, i do not know what hacks/plugin to use

Or else i can just find how to skip the intermediate display image, but that is not whta i want at all..

Post what exactly doesn't work then, as the other guy who started the thread you refered to failed resolving his thread properly.

Quite frankly: you should try to edit less things at once: you have a load of threads open, indicating that you're using different themes and looking for all kinds of hacks. This is not your personal helpdesk. Resolve all your open threads that don't apply any more by replying accordingly to them.

As suggested before: you have a notorious negative karma record - do something to improve it. If you don't, you can't expect supporters to constantly look into your customization wishes. After all, coppermine appears to work as expected on your site. If you need it customized, customize it. We support Coppermine core functionality and only to some extent modifications and hacks.

I'm sorry.. the reason why i ask diffent questions about different themes is severall.. some of them is because i have many galleries.. and others is becuase i have given up using that spesific theme since there is no good hack/mod for it that works for me..

I will close all my threads that is solved..

Yes, i know my karma is very low..

I have been very thankfull for all solutions and anweres i have been given.. and i would like to keep using coppermine now that it seems to work.

Actually, when i am pleased with my gallery i would make a donation to Coppermine Gallery. I would also try translating both the standard coppermine and the stramm modpack language file (i know there is already a translation for the standard coppermine in norwegian, but there is some bugs/errors in it i will try to update..

So, i have been known to post many threads at the beginning when i start using a software.. but that has not been a problem on other forums yet.. and i will soon stop "spamming" this forum.. I just like to have things 100% right before i am happy.. sorry for all the questions i posted that has already been asked before..
