You need to make sure it is enabled and then set the size, like this:

query_cache_type = 1
query_cache_size = 64M

This is not a suitable place for server setup help.

Have I mentioned already that self-hosting is not recommended at all, especially if you have little to no experience in webserver administration?

skelly

Hi

I don't have a lot of experience but I want to learn and I put the whole wish there.
Ok i insert
query_cache_type = 1
query_cache_size = 64M

in my.ini and restart

You need to make sure it is enabled......... I can see if it is enabled?
or where him enabled

I had inserted in my.ini query_cache_type = 1 and query_cache_size = 64M  but nothing didn't change

Thank you are very kind ( gau gau less because he thinks that I am incapable....i joke :)  )

You can see the query cache stats using phpmyadmin or by running the query

SHOW STATUS LIKE 'Qc%';

Please, no more non-coppermine questions.
