I've updated my coppermine from 1.4.8 to 1.4.10 by overwriting the old files by the new.
As after every update i run update.php and versionchecker.php, update.php runs without problems but this time versionchecker.php has a strange problem.  ;D It can't find any file of coppermine, i can't check if all the files are ok after this update.  :o

Same here, everything seems to work but fileversions are just showing "-" or "n/a" and result from versioncheck.php :

Total files/folders checked:      243
Mandatory files missing:    124
Optional files missing:    118
Files left over from outdated Coppermine version:    0
Outdated file versions:    0

Known issue: versioncheck doesn't work on all server environments. Don't worry, it's just an additional tool. If you're sure to have upgraded as suggested in the docs, there's no real need to run versioncheck - you can savely ignore the malfunction of versioncheck.php

Thanks for the info, everything works and i have done the upgrade many times before so i think everything is fine. This was just a new bug for me because everything has worked perfectly before.

But i will not try to debug this more :)

Thanks GauGau for this information, Jassu has reply for me...we are exactly in the same case. I will try too to debug this script if i can. I used php 4 before and i never have any problems, but this time i'm under php 5.
