Ready for a Stupid Question  ???
I currently have 1.4.9 installed on my server/site

I just need to know the proper proceedure for downloading the large theme package release 1.4 found in your downloads from sourceforge.
I have looked through the Doc & the Admin sections of my gallery as well as searching here. I may have missed it somewhere, and actually think I know the answer, but would like to verify.

If it is in the docs, or in a post, please direct me and I will proceed from there.

( I have already notified my Host of the upgrade 1.4.10 )

Thanks for all the help in advance !!  ;D

If you are talking about individual themes:

1. download the theme from the download site
2. unzip it on your computer
3. upload the folder to your gallery>themes folder by FTP
4. Open your gallery and select the theme (assuming you haven't customized out the theme selector).
Did you read the manual first???? Taking 2 minutes to backup your files can save you hours of wondering what you screwed up.

The package is outdated, download the themes individually.

Rats- affraid you were going to say that. Is there a mod pak that includes the theme package?

If not , can I download all of them individually, unzip them into a single folder, and then upload the folder to the gallery themes folder ?

Thanks-

No, there is no mod pack. It's so easy to download themes and not everyone has the same tastes in themes so why create a modpack. Download the ones you want, unzip them (to a single folder if you wish) and upload them to your gallery>themes folder. Really, you're making a mountain out of a mole hill here. Try one and see just how easy it is.

   Thanks Gizmo,
What can I say, I like mountains   ;D

Anyway, It is more a matter of time. Downloading 1 folder rather than 20-30 individual item's- get my drift.
At any rate, not a problem. Can do either way. Primarily wanted to verify  procedure and files is all.

Again,
Thanks Gizmo. Have a great weekend !!

Why don't you test-drive all available themes on the demo page (using the "choose a theme" dropdown there) and just download the one(s) you actually want to use?
It's not recommended to provide a great variety of themes to end users, as they will get confused anyway. Basically, the theme selector was built with the demo in mind. It's not recommended to allow your users to choose a theme of their own. Your website should have a unique look that doesn't change all the times.

Absolutly agree Gizmo. Believe there is a setting for this in Admin, correct.

Kind of like the one's for the holiday's and such.

Did try the demo online. I'll just go back there and as you suggested, pick a few and download those for now.

Thanks    :)
