Upgraded my SMF to latest version and CPG to latest version. Fixed a bunch of stuff but the bridge is broken. CPG won't recognize to bridge/registered users from the forum. All the album files appear to be there but I get "There are no user galleries" when I go looking. Can't login as Admin as the bridge appears to be broken and CPG can't see the forum registrations. I'm now cross-eyed from reading...

Coppermine install: http://www.gasholes.com/smf/gallery
Forum install: http://www.gasholes.com/smf
Coppermine version: CPG 1.4.10
Forum version: SMF v1.1.1
Test user account: none

BridgeManager settings:
Forum URL:  http://www.gasholes.com/smf
Relative path to your BBS's config file: /smf or /smf/sources
Use post-based groups?:  0
Cookie name/prefix (if applicable) smf_gasholes

Appreciate any help I can get. I can't provide a test account cause I can't register and/or login.

Nibbler

The bridge is not enabled. Login with your Coppermine admin account (searanch) and enable the bridge.

After you did as Nibbler suggested, post a non-admin test user account. The test user account needs to be created in your BBS app, not in Coppermine. We won't go through registration just to be able to support you.

Hit a wall enabling the bridge.

Gallery is located at http://www.gasholes.com/smf/gallery
Forum is located at http://www.gasholes.com
My forum Settings.php is located at http://www.gasholes.com/smf
Wizard won't accept a Relative Path of ../smf/ as it keeps telling me ../smf/Settings.php doesn't exist. Correct the value you entered for Relative path to your BBS's config file.

This is tiresome. Appreciate your prompt response and any help...

Sure, of course. Sorry. Issue solved?

Appears to be. One small issue I need to add a link to the template to take me back to the forum to the right or left of Home...

Appreciate your help.

Sorry - where to I key in the link - which file?

Joachim Müller

To add a link from Copppermine to your forum or vice versa? This is not related though to your initial question imo.
