Hi There

I have been running coppermine for about a month now, with the SMF Bridge to integrate it with my SMF Forum.

I have about 4000 images in the gallery in various albums.

My users have reported that whenever they try to upload anything, they get an error message saying that there are no albums which they can upload into, but there are at least two dozen albums.

I've gone into the admin panel, into the groups section, and checked all of the coppermine permissions to ensure that folks are allowed to upload, all of the correct folders are CHmod'd to the correct permissions, but this error message still pops up.

I need to get it resolved so that my users can upload, can anyone help?

Thanks
Zach

Make sure you allowed uploads in album properties for these albums.

Bumping this because I have the same problem, EVEN THOUGH I have set the properties of that album to allow visitor uploads.

In the Groups area, my Registered group is set to YES for allow upload to public albums, the album I want them to upload to is set to allow it, but they're still told there are no albums to which they have access.  If I try to assign the album to that group, it says "This group has no special access."

CPG1.4.9, btw.

That's 10 versions behind. Current version is 1.4.19. Update your gallery. You'd be better off posting your own thread, since few people read threads that are already flagged as 'solved'.
