Smf 1.1.1 /coppermine crash

I have the following issue when trying to bridge coppermine and SMF:
Coppermine critical error:
Unable to connect to UDB database !

Ok I don't mean to ask stupid questions but when it comes to Mysql stuff I am completely clueless. I had the SMF forum up and going, installed Coppermine and it was working as a stand alone. When I ran the bridge manager I managed to crash it all.

Would someone be willing to take a look and see if they can help me. I'm afraid I'm going to compound the problems by mucking around in there when I KNOW I don't know what I'm doing from this point on.

Link to your gallery does not work. If you actually are using 1.4.2 then update.
