I have the following issue when trying to bridge coppermine 1.4.10 and phpbb2 2.0.6:
[Gallery is currently offline - check back soon ]

I tried to log in but it directs me to my forum. I have admin status there of course, but after I log in, it then directs me back to my homepage (forum).
I currently can't log into the gallery to disable or enable anything. I tried to follow the instructions with disabling the integration using http://www.media.rubystation.com/bridgemgr.php , however that has failed as well
As I can not access the site, I can not create a test user account.

This was what I did in my installation ... and I had my gallery disabled at the time, so people don't stumble in. but now I can't access.

Coppermine install: http://media.rubystation.com/
Forum install: http://rubystation.com/phpbb2/
Coppermine version: cpg1.4.10
Forum version: phpbb2 2.0.6

BridgeManager settings:
Forum URL:  http://rubystation.com/phpbb2
Relative path to your BBS's config file:  ../
Cookie name/preifx: phpbb2mysql

Any ideas as to what I should do?

Thanks in advance~

Nibbler

sorry .. how silly of me~

test account: test/test1

thanks for looking into this..

Try updating the forum, I'm not sure the bridge supports back to 2.0.6

Takako

oh ic.
Then is there a way to access the gallery so that I can disable the integration? Or do I have to reinstall?
I am waiting for phpbb3 before I pay someone to upgrade. (as I don't know how to do it myself)

Takako

I actually followed that manual before I logged the support, but when I go to http://www.media.rubystation.com/bridgemgr.php it would still say that the gallery is offline. and I am back to square 1.

If this is a troublesome thing you havent come across in the past, don't worry, I guess I can reinstall. But if you have any nifty ideas to get me going again, I'd love to know.

Thankyou once again for you prompt assistance

Takako

Never mind .. I kept searching, and managed to find out that I can disable the bridging via editing the database using phpmyadmin, and edit coppermine's config table and set bridge_enable from "1" to "0". Now I can access my gallery again~ whoopee~~~

I don't think I will be attempting bridging until I have upgraded my forum ...
Many thanks for your time
