so confused!!!, when i try to upload a file i get the message "PHP running on your server does not support the GD image library, check with your webhost if ImageMagick is installed". i believe that the best way to fix this would be to find the "php.ini" and change a value in it, however where is the php.ini file located??? and is it true that i can just make one and place it in the directory and override the master one?
I pay for web hosting monthly and have full mysql and php support server wise, just cant find the php.ini and techs at the server room are away for the weekend.

Thanks

Sami

ask your hosting for support,
- ask them about Imagemagick installation
- ask them about GD installation
- ask them about php.ini , in most cases (shared server/hosting) they wont let you to change php.ini
‍I don't answer to PM with support question
Please post your issue to related board

Bottom line: you either need GD (with jpeg support) or ImageMagick on your server to run coppermine, see "minimum requirements"
