Is there a way to put the user gallery thumbnails on the front page? I read that it's not built in and there's a mod for it but I can't find it. Does anyone know how I can accomplish this (If you have a link to the mod please show me).

Sorry if this is the wrong board but I have searched and searched and I could not find it.

You didn't search very hard, there is a whole forum dedicated to this mod.
