As I understand Coppermine.net reserves the right to allow the footer to remain,

My questions refers to adding.
I have spent a considerable amount of time (however by no means near as much as the developers) customising a client's Coppermine Installation.
The modifications have been more or less locking it down and removing unused features (ecards, changing favourites to download basket)
Is it allowable that I can insert a line such as 'modifications by 'x' after the Powered by 'Coppermine Photo Gallery' Footer?

I understand that this post my unwillingly envoke a bit of outrage due to the appropriate licence(es),
however I would like to make it clear that I intend solely to add my Name/URL/Contact only leaving the original signature intact.
Should this be inappropriate/not feasible by the administration/staff I would like enquire permission to do so.

Otherwise hit the delete button ;)
Thanks

I am glad that I found this question.... I was going to post something similar... just thought I would do a quick search first.  Now that I see that it is ok to make this addition... could you tell me where I am supposed to do this?  I have been looking for hours, and cannot locate it.

Thanks

Mark

http://takethu.com/ has an example of text below the footer. Check out the source on how to do it.

btw, I used the option, "Path to custom footer include" to define a footer file so all themes would have the text.

To display anything right below the "Powered by Coppermine" tag, just edit themes/yourtheme/template.html, find {GALLERY} end enter your custom markup directly after it. You have to understand that you mustn't edit the Powered by Coppermine tag itself, and we won't tell how to accomplish this, see http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/faq.htm#editCopyrights
