HTTP 404 Error during Install

Hello,
After many unsuccessful attempts to fix my gallery due to FrontPage screwing it up, I ended up deleting the whole thing and installing the newest version (1.4.12).

I renamed the file to 'gallery', uploaded it via ftp, changed the album and include settings to 777 and tried to run the install.php with no success.  I get an http 404 error when I type in the url for the install.  I have read and re-read the docs and install manual (rtfm) but cannot figure out why the install is not working.  When I installed cpg 1.4.10 I had to troubles running the install.

My website is www.cutabovescrappin.com. Installing cpg1.4.12.

Please advise.

What directory did you upload Coppermine to?

Hi Nibbler,

I uploaded the Coppermine folder (renamed 'gallery') into the cutabovescrappin.com directory.  Is that the correct way?  It seems that is the same way I uploaded it the first go around when it installed without any trouble.

Gives me 404 Not Found error, make sure that you have uploaded correctly
