Hello,
Seeing some mistakes that people make from reading posts here, i wanted to be clear about how to handle folders which have been created within the directory /albums after adding & removing photos using the XP publishing agent. I have been practicing adding & removing files in various ways with Coppermine, and noticed now after uploading with the XP publishing agent, and then deleting thru Coppermine - that there are some left over albums which were created at some point, perhaps by the XP publishing agent such as:
wpw-1f
wpw-42
wpw-46
wpw-ba
wpw-14
There are now 20 of these such /dirs which were created, and now nothing within them except an index.html. being empty, and having removed the photos from within Coppermine - is it ok to delete these /dirs ? They appear in my "batch add" window if they are not necessary now that there is nothing in them i would like to keep that view as clutter free as possible.

It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here

Hello, thank you for your response. I would like to use the search feature more effectively for just such things. What would be a good search string in this instance?
Again thank you for your help, and i am really "REALLY" looking forward to 1.3 as i am sure "alot" of people are.

                                 Thank you

Sorry, I edited the post, but you had already read it.  The above link is to a sticky.

For future searches, the best way is to put your search like this 'folders AND xp AND publish'.
