Slideshow Options per Album

I was wondering if it's possible to have different parameters for slideshows of different albums within the same gallery.  Some things I want to leave at defaults for most albums while other albums I want to display differently.

For instance, some albums I want the slideshow to mimic an animated GIF, without the fade transition from one shot to the next.  I'd also like to change the duration between shots.

Here's an example slideshow I'd like to show with a one second or less duration with immediate switching from one shot to the next with no transition effect:

The way it is now is not the effect I want to present.  I want the differences to "blink" in abruptly.
