I have a question. I recently moved a lot of pictures from one subcategory to another subcategory (CAT:screencaps >  SUBCAT: movies SUBCAT: tv ... moved a few albums from movies to tv) and I did this by deleting all files in the movies subcat, and creating a new album in the tv subcat. So basicly I started all over again, and this took be 4 hours since there was over 3000 pics that needed to be moved.

I dont fancy doing this again, so I wonder if there is any way to move an album from one category/subcategory to another?

I did, but it didn't quite work as planned. I moved the files using FTP as well ...

The structure used to look like this (ftp)
cpg > albums > screencaps > album x

and I moved album x to another subfolder, like this
cpg > albums > screencaps > movies > album x

Then I did the category move as instructed in the docs, and sure the move worked but I was getting red "x"'s. Is there any way to fix this? Or do I, if moving the files around using the FTP, need to re-do the "batch add files"?

Don't move files around with FTP. File paths on the disk are not related to Coppermine's album/category structure.

QuoteFile paths on the disk are not related to Coppermine's album/category structure.
I know, but when I made the extra subcategories using the cpg's cpanel, I might as well do the same with the ftp, to  get a clean and accurate structure of everything.

I think I get your point, really. But I already did so, I'll just batch add them again.

Thanks.
