I'm trying to make it so my users can copy/paste the direct link into a forum message, but I don't know how to enable display of a direct link (In the info I see a php link to the display page, not an absolute address)

I've tried searching the boards for "absolute address", "direct link", "direct hotlink", etc.

All i've come up with is a year-old post saying it should already be shown in the info, but it's not and a few other posts that are older.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

thanks.

That absolute link is http://raindancevillage.com/coppermine/displayimage.php?pos=-7. The link of the actual image is not displayed but there are mods/plugins for this.

Ok, I tried looking for a plugin or mod, but I keep coming up empty. (In fact the first search hit that keeps coming up is this posting) Tho I fear I might be using the wrong terminology.

Are you talking about using a bridge? That's the only relevant thing that i've been able to find. But it's going to be far too complicated for both me and my users.
