Oh the great ones...
I really like the "Flikr Uploader", a Konfabulator widget (http://flagrantdisregard.com/flickr/uploader.php - GNU license - free to modify) to entice my family to upload pictures into the family gallery. Flickr has an API for that purpose but since Windows XP Web Publisher can take care of resizing pictures and uploading them simpler than doing it from many image manipulation programs, I would hazard a guess that it would be doable fairly easily using a Widget. The really nice feature of the widget is its drag-and-drop interface for image uploading. Being always on the desktop would make it really hard to say "oh, I fogot to upload them." Emailed the author and he suggested that I broadcast a request in this board.
Could one of you please take a look at itand see how hard it would be to modify or add Coppermine access to it, or to create a new one just for Coppermine?
All the Best

Coppermine already supports xp publisher. Please read the docs. It would have saved you time trying to convince the dev team to do something that had been done. ;)

I just saw another post by a different member regarding this product.
I know nothing about it, only what I saw in the feature list of it's site.
It only works with Windows, but it might be what you are looking for as well.
