Okay, I've looked at everything I can think of in the admin section, looked completely through the docs, and searched this forum a lot, and I can't find an answer to this.  Users can upload pics to their own galleries, but not to public ones.  I've seen a lot of threads here on this, a few on this page, but still can't get it resolved.  I've checked for "alblist" in content as mentioned in another thread, and looked at whatever else I can find.  I simply cannot see an option for the Album properties.  The docs show a graphic of what the properties screen looks like once you get there, but not the screen with the option.

I'm using 1.1.14 bridged to SMF 1.1.4, but from what I see in other posts that shouldn't matter.  Everything works well except this.

I've included a link to the gallery, a screen shot of the config section relating to content, and a screenshot of the category list.  Sorry, I know this has been beat to death here and it may be right in front of me, but I can't see it and don't know where else to look.  Thanks...

Navigate to an album in your gallery (eg http://www.iliketoride.com/gallery/index.php?cat=10) and click on the 'properties' button. Then set 'visitors can upload files' to yes. Neither the admin panel or category manager are relevant, since you need to set permissions on the groups page and in album properties.

Can't thank you enough.  Like I said, right in front of my eyes.  I'm going to blame it on sleep deprivation and slip quietly away into the night. :-[

Thanks again...
