Hi... I'm very new to this so I'm affraid Im stuck a bit. I've installed Coppermine in the HTDoc folder on the Apache server. Changed the permissions to 777 for the album and includes folders. I then executed the install.php and was met with a control panel. I've filled out the panel with the database name, user name and password but get the following error when I hit the "lets go Button"
Could not create a mySQL connection, please check the SQL values entered

MySQL error was : Access denied for user 'sr0872181'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

I cannot find an option on the install.php to tell the install the directory where the sql database can be found is this the problem? or is it something else.
thanks for your time.
Regards,
Steff

Is that freeola? Looks like you have to 'activate' mysql before you can use it.

http://freeola.com/support/mysql.php

It also says to use mysql.freeola.net as the db host, not localhost.
