That's not true. Coppermine works as well with safe_mode turned on. We even have a toggle in coppermine that enables the application to work with badly-configured servers where safe_mode has not been configured properly by the webhost.
Don't reply to sticky threads if you are not sure what you're doing.

We don't hate anybody, let that be very clear. Joachim was merely explaining that CPG does work with safe_mode switched to on. I can personaly vouch for that as all three servers where i run cpg do so with safe_mode on. If you would search the documentation, as said by Joachim, it explains how the toggle works. If your setup does not work when safe_mode is on then please take the time to sort it out with whomever is hosting you.

And also keep in mind not to reply to sticky threads.. it's better to open a new thread to address a problem or ask for support.
