Hi Guys,
I'm running with the classic theme and have noticed that images that are uploaded by users are not displaying the normal_image.jpg. The thumbs are OK but when you click on the thumb the display shrinks to a small box that says click to enlarge image... when you do the full size image displays. If I change the theme the images work OK.... But If I do that my FLV player wont work.... so I would like to stay with the classic theme for now.

This is restricted to users galleries as far as I can see. The rest of the albums seem fine.
Any ideas.

Thanks again,
Steff

Hi Nibbler,

Here is the url of one of the problem galleries http://picturepenzance.co.uk/displayimage.php?album=109&pos=6
the url for the site is http://picturepenzance.co.uk

Hope this helps.

This is caused by the 'overlay.gif' mod not handling special characters in file/folder names very well. Having an @ symbol in a filename is really not a good idea in the first place.

Thanks Nibbler,
Can I rename the files and use you're file replacement plug in to replace the newly named files... do you think that would work.

Regards,
Steff

Nibbler

Should do, it might have issues with the @ too though.

Halfhidden

I'll have the @ removed and find a script that will not allow the @ sign to be used on files to be uploaded..... If I find one I'll let you know.
Thanks again Nibbler
PS I've finally sorted out the anycontent.php... really cool php isn't it :)

sorry please close this thread... it's solved I'm sure :)

Nibbler

Marked as solved. You can add @ to the list of forbidden characters for filenames in config.

Note to devs: I'll add the "@" to the default settings for the forbidden chars for cpg1.5.x.
