Hi, I set the permissions of anonymous users and registered users to upload images to my gallery, but I receive an error that says something like: Sorry but there is no album where is allowed to insert new pictures.

Why am I receiving this If I set the permisions right in the admin menu "Groups" ?

Thanks, my gallery is at //www.hotsonora.net/fotos

EDIT: I will not support those who remove their 'powered by coppermine' link.

@ivan.cc: removing the "Powered by Coppermine" footer is a violation of the license terms. Put it back in please! If you have received the coppermine code with the footer already stripped, we'll readily help you restore it.

Hi again all staff,

I am very sorry and ashamed   ... I have now read all the documentation and as GauGau says that were a violation. Desaffortunately I have had downloaded the package from a non-official site of CPG; today I got it from coppermine.sf.net and re-uploaded all files, (always "backuping" my /themes/default for feel and look of my site..) HOTSONORA

Well that's it and know that I've done my work I hope you can support me for my issue for uploading pics

Thanks a lot, and I hope you continue developing this excellent gallery script. You make a great job.
Sincerely

notice the "properties" button next to each album thumbnail (when in admin mode)? You set the permissions individually for each album there ("Visitors can upload pictures").

Please tell us where you got that non-official coppermine package from.

I'll try that option

By the way I don't remember the URL of where I got CPG.

such a coincidence - nobody seems to remember this famous url where they have illegal copies of coppermine. Everybody seems to accidentally have deleted the browser's history/recent settings, all favorites, everything. Nobody has removed the credits by himself.

its not about for what you are supposing, of course I didn't delete all that. Of course some info might still be in my history files but Im not going to be browsing which is the url, If you search for something in google, do you always check up the url or are you looking just for the information you're trying to get? Obviously the second option.

I repeat you I JUST don't know where I got it... and certainly Im a PHP begginer so please stop thinking I removed the code, that's basiclly impossible to me because the copyright seems to be hard encoding, and that's too fair because We are receiving an excellent piece of code just for a link back, that's it.

In addition all this missunderstood started when I first submited a new topic, would you think I'd post my gallery URL (wich hasn't the "Powered by" link), if I had knew the correctly documentation, again NOT.. so I don't guess why are you so sure of what you're saying sarcasticly.

You also say: "nobody seems to remember this famous url". I'm very sorry if you have experimented other cases with this conflict.

OK, enough said.
As your problem is solved, I am locking this thread.
It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here
