My gallery died.
some facts:
I was NOT uploading files.
There are no other users working on it.
I was NOT working in the gallery.
It just, suddenly, broke :(

I get a blank screen on anonymous access and this error if I'm logged in:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 242936 bytes) in /var/www/virtual/medusaclub.it/htdocs/FotoMedusa/include/functions.inc.php on line 2040

I'm able to login accessing config.php file via browser as I noticed everything works fine if no gallery/images/thumbs is included in the page I'm loading.
Just to let you  know I can't change upload limits.

Any idea ??????? PLS ....

thanks in advance

Joachim Müller

Yes, I have got an idea: when reporting issues with your site, you should always post a link to your site. I guess the site you're refering to is http://medusaclub.it/FotoMedusa/ which works as expected for me. What's the actual question?

tyberius

Yes now it works ... but when I posted the topic it was not working at all :(
Any idea on what happens server side that can produce that problem ??

BTW sorry for not posting the gallery url ... when I posted there was not so much to view .. a blank empty page.

Well, if things come and go, it's likely that your webhost performed an update or maintenance works. Ask them if you're keen to find out. Personally, I would not care as long as things work as expected.

I'll open a ticket with my hosting provider and I'll keep you informed on their reply.
Thanks for your support.

As I suggested: I wouldn't bother if things run fine again. What's the use of starting a ticket? I'd only molest my webhost if there is something that actually needs looking into.

It seems thay configured php.ini in order to give few ram to php process on my server.
Now they raised the limit.

Thanks for your support.
