I ran a search and did not come up with anything. I do not know if I did not use the correct keywords, but if this has been discussed, a link to the solution is welcomed.

I bridged coppermine and SMF successfully quite a while ago, and I did not realize that there was an issue with guests not being able to view the gallery. I set permissions to use ratings and ecards, but not comments (we were getting spam comments). When I am not logged in, it takes me to the SMF forum to login or register. Any ideas what might be causing this?

Coppermine install: http://www.animecosmo.com/Anime/fanart/i
Forum install: http://www.animecosmo.com/Forum
Coppermine version: v1.4.12
Forum version: SMF 1.1.1
Test user account: testaccount / test

I am not able to supply the bridgemanager info at this moment because I cannot remember the login for the coppermine admin. It is not the same as my current SMF login. I am working on figuring out how to restore that info in case it is needed.

Thank you in advance for any insight to this problem.

You probably set "Allow unlogged users (guest or anonymous) access" to "no" in coppermine's config (default is "yes"). Undo that and you should be fine.

Oh gosh, I feel so stupid! One of my moderators with admin access probably set it to that when we had the spammers making comments. I did not even think about that! I thought it was something with the bridging. >_> My apologizes for placing this in the wrong section. It should have been in the stupid questions section. LOL. Anyway, it worked perfectly. Thank you kindly.

Don't make people admins who don't know their way around. If you trust them only to be moderators in your forum, don't make them admin in coppermine.

Thanks for resolving your thread though.
