I have been using Coppermine for a couple of years now. About a month ago I started getting this error:
Coppermine critical error:
Unable to connect to database !

MySQL said: Too many connections

I contacted my host who says everything looks fine on their end and it must be a Coppermine issue so contact them. I did not see much here about this issue because everything I read said it must be the host. I sent my host another message about the issue and they again told me that it was a Coppermine issue not a host issue and to contact Coppermine instead. So I am. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this issue? I run a small family based website that typically doesn't have more than 2-3 users on or viewing the pictures at a time.

Thank you in advance!

The too many connections error message definitely is not anything that we could help you with. It's definitely a matter of resources shortage/limitations on your webhosts end. If they say otherwise, they don't know their way around. You're welcome to show them this thread.
