I'm not entirely sure if this is where I should be asking this but since my site host won't email me back, I figure trying here can't hurt.  If this isn't a Coppermine issue, I apologize in advance.

Anyone, the issue is anytime someone goes to view my gallery, they are asked for a username and password.  I have to log in too but it's not to my Coppermine, it's to the site itself.  So when visitors go to view my gallery, they are asked for the site's password and username, which I obviously can't give them since it would allow them access to my whole site.

Again, I don't know if this is a Coppermine issue, but since that is the only section of my site that has this issue, I figure asking can't hurt.  I'm new to this whole website thing, at least the modern website anyway (I used to design them nearly 10 years ago so to say I am not up to date is an understatement.)

Thank you.  And again, sorry.  I really just don't know where else to ask.  I have people emailing me asking what's wrong all the while I am trying to get a hold of my host and she doesn't seem to want to reply for whatever reason.

http://machinegunshelley.net/cpg1419/index.php  is the gallery link.  I don't have a non-administrative account though (or have any clue how to make one)

Remove this code from your theme's template.html.

Thank you!  I'll give that a shot.  But how would I put a header in there now?  Like I said, I am really new to the whole Coppermine thing and don't really know the customizing basics.

Take a look through the FAQ's in this section and maybe some of the othere theming posts.

Along with this section of the docs.

You could also try searching the boards for custom header.

There may seem like a lot of reading to do but it is worth it. Once you get started you will learn quickly and it reall does help in the future. Keep notes of any changes you make so you ca undo things that dont work.
It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.
