Hi all,
i believe i've got the same fault. I've activatet the plugin (in the old version) after this I had no permissions to open all of the files ( index.php,...) After this I thougt deleting the plugin in the database wil help - but it doesn't help.
I don't find the .htaccess also - in wich folder is the file located?
Please help - i don't want to reinstall the coppermine because there are some pics and comments in the database...

If you want to see the complete error message follow the link:

Delete the .htaccess file and uninstall the SEF urls plugin.

In the root of your website. Delete and uninstall the plugin.

Hi,
I've an installation of joolma 1.5 in the root folder and the coppermine installations are in subfolders. I've 4 installations of coppermine and the only .htaccess file i can find is located in the joomla directory (upside the coppermine installation).

I've already deleted the plugin - and I've deleted the entry in the plugin table - but there has nothing changed. I can't login to uninstal the plugin from the backend - because I've no permissions...
kind regards,
BassD

maybe someone can post an .htaccess file without the plugin entries - because in all of my coppermine installation folders is no .hataccess file.
thx in advance,
BassD

Hi All,
i really need help! Maybe you can provide alternatives.
Is it possible to install a new coppermine and to take over different tables? And wich table I shouldn't import in the new installation because i will get the same fault?
Thanks in advance,
BassD

Hi and thanks for your reply - but in my coppermine share is no .htaccess file - so I can't delete it...

Digging a little deeper i saw that the other three cpg installations are running <!--Coppermine Photo Gallery 1.4.12 (stable)-->
.
What you could do is backup the database of that 1 corrupt installation. Then update the gallery and import the tables.
Also update the other three installations!
