Hello,

Ive got apache and mysql installed along with php on my computer.   Ive made a folder in the htdocs  called photo and extracted my gallery setup there.

when i type localhost/photo/install.php i get and error saying "include/sql_parse.php"

where do i go from here?

ive installed coppermine on my website many times and helped friends, but this setup is way diiferent.

Your webserver isn't configured properly. Please understand that this board doesn't deal with server setup, but only coppermine (the pre-requisite/minimum requirement for coppermine is a working and properly configured webserver).
There are better places on the web to look for help on server setup than this board...

I would suggest going to B&N or Walden to pick up a book with step by step instructions for setting up PHP, MySQL, and Apache on a Windows system.  SAMS' Teach Yourself PHP, MySQL, and Apache in 24 Hours is a good place to start.  The error message you gave is incomplete, so we can't tell you anything else.  Perhaps your permissions are incorrect.
