1. provide a link to your 1.4.8 gallery (with debug for everyone enable)
2. upgrade your 1.4.6
3. please do not remove copyright

1. http://www.pozehaioase.ro
2. gallery is up to date (manually pached)
3. copyright was never removed (pls see google cache)

Sami

1.gallery on that link is 1.4.6(stable)
try yourself :
- also there is a version stamp at the end of each page (view source)
2.I can't see the copyright , it's hiding under table check this

I have installed "a la carte" the last CPG version 1.4.8
And, as i thought, still the same high CPU load.

Sami

1.Copyright is invisible !!!
2.Everything seems normal with CPG (this is normal ,Page generated in 3.571 seconds - 24 queries in 0.12 seconds)
I think you should check other stuff

I'm thinking hardware upgrade.
PHP is so much CPU intenssive even with Zend Optimizer enabled.

due to the numerous questions related to slow servers running CPG I'm asking the moderators if it's ok to start a new topic dealing with Apache/Mysql/PHP tuning for CPG

If you'll aprove my request, I'll start a topic with samples of apache config, php.ini & my.ini for you all to see, comment & tune :)

you are most welcome to share your experience

Hi again

Having successfully installed Coppermine, I decided to start reading the included document (Documentation and Manual) in Internet Explorer. Straightaway, the CPU useage goes up to at least 50% and stays there. It actually makes reading the document impossible as it takes ages "to catch up to your mouse clicks". It only appears to be an HTML document, so I'm wondering exactly what it contains to slow things down so much.

For example, while writing this note, my CPU useage was about 1-2% which is pretty normal.

Does anyone else have this problem?

Regards
