Zip download problem

Dear all,

We have facing a problem while downloading the my favorite files as zip which basically says zip file is corrupted. I have gone through the forum and did the following:

1) increase the memory limit on php.ini to 32MB (the system has 4gb ram)

2) I have also read somewhere this could be problem with Zlibrary not included (while compiling PHP). I have installed php in part of Centos 5.3 installation and I am wondering if someone could suggest a solution.?. I would also appreciates if you could let  me know if there anywhere I can get the PHP rpms with Zlibrary included.

please see below the output of  rpm -qa|grep zlib

[root@Data]# rpm -qa | grep zlib
zlib-1.2.3-3

i assume the zlib is installed but not included while compaliling the PHP? any suggestion and guidence would be real help.

With a post count as high as yours (20+) you should be aware of board rules: it's mandatory to post a link to your gallery, preferably a deep link to the file in question. Additionally, don't perform stunts on the shell of your server, as the output on the shell doesn't mean that your webserver is connfigured to use the zlib library. Instead, take a look at the phpinfo page to see if PHP is "aware" of your zip library. If you're not sure, attach a screenshot of the phpinfo screen to your posting.
As you already figured out, zipping is a resources-intensive process, so webserver-sided restrictions may apply. Therefor, if the server isn't yours to configure (i.e. if your webhosted), chances are high that you won't be able to use that feature at all for large files.

the server is hosted in my office however i dont have the option to send you the link till tomorrow since i am away from the office.
