I have 3 coppermine galleries, and I noticed the other two (the working ones) have two different passwords. I tried giving the database that's has the problem with one of their passwords, but it didn't work. How do I go about retrieving the password for it?

At MySQL Manage Databases I checked and repaired the database and everything says is OK.

It used to say

Access denied for user '(myusername)_copp1'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

Now I get a Internal Server Error message  :(

The mySQL access data are being stored in include/config.inc.php. We can't tell you how to retrieve a lost mySQL password, that's beyond the scope of coppermine support, as you can't accomplish that in coppermine. You'll have to talk to your webhost who usually can't retrieve a lost password neither, but who can reset it to something else.

A "500 internal server error" usually is not an indication of a missing database password, but a sign that something else has gone wrong, which can be reviwed by accessing the webserver's error log, which is again something only your webhost can.

This is not related to initial install as far as I can see.
