I am sure the answer is simple and I am gonna feel like such an idiot when someone tells me whats wrong, but I have uploaded the files to my server and when I attempt to run the location of the install file, I get a 404 error telling me that it does not exist.
This is the location of the file:
http://www.tnorvforum.com/coppermine/install.php
The files are all there, the folder is there. I have no idea what the problem is, but its probably a host issue and I am not sure what.

Thanks so much in advance...I feel like a dolt for even having to ask.

are you sure of the name of your Coppermine directory. It seems they are no files in the coppermine folder...

That is exactly what I thought and that's why it makes no sense to me.
I am 150% sure that is where its at. I dunno if this helps or not, but here's the screen shot of the directory attached.

All the files were extracted to the coppermine folder, after being uploaded as the complete zip file....nothing was omitted.

Check the coppermine directory and verify correct permissions (755 on folders, 644 on files) as well as the owner (shouldn't be 'nobody'). Also, check your public_html directory for an .htaccess file and verify the ErrorDocument portion (if applicable). If you're not sure what to do with the htaccess file (if exists), copy it to your desktop, then delete it from the server. Finally, retry to access the coppermine gallery folder.

I tried some of the other folders from the screen shot like 'chat' and they are not there either. You are probably looking at the wrong account or wrong server. Not a Coppermine issue - talk to your host.

How could it be the wrong account when I have been uploading stuff to that account like smileys, rank images, icons, etc and they show up in the forum like they are suppose to and I uploaded them to the exact same account under folders in the same location?
I don't know what the issue is, but its not because I am using the wrong account or on the wrong server.

I have the same problem now... I uploaded all the new files on my coppermine folder, but the upload.php is not in there but it should be! I can see it from the FTP program but when i try to run it, it gives me the same "not found" error... I have tryed to upload it several times now and all the files too but nothing changes... Strange!

please open  a new thread, as your issue is perhaps different, and give use a link to your coppermine install, even if you have an error
