Hey, I read this post where someone said it was perfectly fine to add Stramm to an existing gallery,

But my question is,

Quote from the installation: you'll get a fatal error if you open the index without running update.php

If the gallery is popular and people view it, won't it come error if anyone will go to the index page while the files are being uploaded?

I was going to add Stramm a while ago, but I got error, I managed to add my backup and tried it again, and again I got error, I did everything I was supposed to do though, but that time I couldn't restore it for some reason and had to pay my hosting $15 for them to put their backup up on the gallery.
I've installed Stramm successfully on other galleries, but I did that before anyone started navigating through them. But I know people are adding Stramm with an existing gallery, is it possible to do something so people won't go to the index page?

So now I'm worried about it happening again and I really want to use Stramm cause it makes the gallery look better.

Stramm

you can upload the sql folder first and run update. Then the lang and include folder and init.inc.php. Then the rest. Or have your site these 5 mins in maintainance mode.
