Excuse me if I am in a grumpy mood but surely as an American you speak English(ish) as your first language? As such I find your question very poorly written. Please make the effort to write more clearly. Simply writing "How to..." Just seems lazy.

You will find the answer to your question in the docs but please post a link as Andre requested.
It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.

The themes that come with cpg1.5.x out of the box no longer have the theme selector enabled, so you must be using a theme designed for cpg1.4.x anyway.

Hi
I have just upgraded from 1.4.# to the latest version and also have the problem of of not knowing how to turn the theme selector off.
I have searched  through the Docs and looked through the Admin settings without finding the answer,
From the previous messages I assume I may still have some of the old theme files on the server, although I uploaded all the new files except for Album and config.inc.php
my photos are at http://www.mareham-le-fen.co.uk/photo
any advice would be appreciated

Please don't jump into/hijack a thread with another question.

But just to save future electrons my advice is to read the docs - remove the theme select token.

Beekeeper

Thanks  for that
The information in the documentation is comprehensive and obviously a huge amount of effort has gone into producing it
Sometimes it can  be difficult to find  an answer if you are not sure exactly what you are looking for, as in this case I made one or two wrong assumptions, as to where I would find the info

Joachim Müller

That's why the documentation can be searched as well, using the customized google search.
