Hey guys, I hope after this one is solved that it can help someone.
I am using the gallery as a flv player, and this is the second one I have done this way.
I can upload .flv files that are small, but the larger ones load all the way to the end, and then when it's almost done, a blank popup window pops up, but it doesnt' say anything, and then underneath the file, it says "Upload error".
I used the batch upload and uploaded them without problem.
So, my settings, for upload in the configuration, are set to like 5GB, so that's not the issue.
Also, my php.ini file on the server is set to like 5GB also.
The file size is 164MB.
I tried both the multiple and single uploader, with no avail.
Can someone clue me in, on what could be wrontg?
The site gallery is http://www.newimagetabernacle.org/videos/

I hope I have included all the necessary information.
Any help would be soooooo appreciated.

Thanks, and God Bless!

You are almost certainly running into server limitations. You may have set that limit in php.ini but there are other limits as well as limits on the hardware. If you need to upload such huge files then use ftp and batch add them. Http is not really a protocol designed for uploading huge files anyway.

Why do you need such massive files? I would suggest you are better off using a lower quality version of those files. That is a lot of bandwidth to use up.
It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.

I second Phill's suggestions. But if you need to upload those files by http, try to increase the form token life time in Coppermine's config.

Yes, I did change the token lifetime.  Well, I agree they are large files, .flv, 407X305px @ 700bytes/sec.  164MB.
You mentioned  other server settings that could be limiting the uploads besides the upload max in the php.ini file, can you tell me which ones, cause I am would like to stay with this quality and this size of video?

Thanks for your help again...

If it's your gallery, use ftp to upload such large files.

hunt0777

ok...it's not the file size, cause I just tried to upload a 37MB file, and couldn't.
sorry for the inconvenience.  i don't know what is going on.  I turned on debug mode, and made it public for you (not sure if that will help you).

Thank you soo much.

37mb is still a large file. One one UK host I know of for instance due to the restricted memory their shared service gives users can only upload files under 930k. If you wish us to test uploads please post a test user account and setup your gallery as outlined in the upload troubleshooting section of the docs. Or just do as Andre and I have previously suggested and use ftp.
