Hi there,

So, I've now spent about 16 hours working on this upgrade (went from 1.3 to 1.4 and now to the latest version).  I've found so many issues that I'm getting to the point where I just want the throw the entire thing out (which I wouldn't do anyway, because I really happen to like Coppermine), but that's not possible since I've been using Coppermine for over 6 years now and I have thousands of images.

My intermediate images on some of my galleries are coming back with thumb_nopic for some reason (see this gallery: http://www.harrypotterspage.com/images/photogallery/displayimage.php?album=190&pid=13581#top_display_media)
I checked the names on some of these files and nothing has spaces, funny characters, or anything like this.

Plus, many times I have saved stuff in my config area only to come back and find that it hasn't saved the info.  This has been especially happening in my user options and theme.  I set up so that guests can see all images, come back, and find that it's gone back to the default. VERY frustrating.  I set the theme (had to of done this about 20 times now) only to come back and find it's gone to some other theme.

Additionally my intermediate view of the block for my images is too wide.  I continue trying to change this, and it doesn't seem to affect anything.

I've just switched to a new server (but still with the same company) that has PHP 5.0, MySQL 4.0.21.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Plus I keep getting the darn Error A valid form token could not be found.  And I'm not going to continually clean out my cache.  This issue has to have a fix somewhere.  It won't save the User section when I try to save it because of this.

Sorry, I'm ill and only got about 3 hours of sleep because of all the issues this is giving me.

Please, please, please help me out here. Thx.

I get a 403 error message when I try to access that picture. My initial assumption was, that some intermediate-sized pictures don't exist. Please check if they exist, if not, use the admin tools to create them.

Adjust your custom theme or the size of your intermediate-sized pictures in config.

Please respect our 'one question per thread' rule. So please lets discuss only your 'first' issue here: 'thumb_nopic for Intermediate Images'. Thanks.

There is one image I was messing with to try and change to name and it made it look like it was missing.  The images are there.  If you click on the thumb_nopic image, the image will display.  It just isn't showing up in the intermediate area.  I've found that this instance is very inconsistent through out the entire photo gallery.  For this particular gallery (find the link to the gallery here: http://www.harrypotterspage.com/images/photogallery/thumbnails.php?album=190) it's mainly for the first few pages but then it straightens (mostly) out.  I can't figure out what is the consistent reason that this is happening.

Yes, having to do this quite often.  Quite the bummer. :/

Trying to do this.   It's a tbody tag, but I can't seem to find the file it's associated with.  It's set way to wide.  Are you able to direct me to where I can find this? (see attached capture)

Thank you!

You're working at too many construction zones at once! At first I suggest to temporary switch to a theme that was designed for cpg1.5.x, e.g. curve: http://www.harrypotterspage.com/images/photogallery/?theme=curve

I'm not sure if you understand what I tried to say. I asked you to check, if the normal_xyz images are present.

Probably a combination of your intermediate settings and the width/height of your full-sized images. Try to run the admin tools. Make a backup first, if something unexpected will be the result.

Okay, I'm going to put here exactly what I did as it fixed two of my issues (the width of the box and the width of the images which was distorting look of the layout while in the view of the intermediate photos).  I took your advice and tried to update the

First I went into my server and copied my albums folder into another folder so I would have a copy (backup) of my albums.

Then I went into the admins tools section of the gallery.

At first I selected Update thumbs and/or resized photos > Both resized and full sized (if an original copy is available).

I tested this on a few albums that weren't very big and were not viewed a lot,  but this seemed to mess with the original sizes of my pop out photos.

So, when I noticed the issue with the popups, I decided instead to do Update thumbs and/or resized photos > Only resized pictures.  This worked great. So I did it for all my albums...which took about 3 hours.

Now, before someone does this, make sure you've gone into the Config section > File Settings and select 400 (this works for my theme - a 1.5 version - chaoticsoul) - so choose whatever width is good for your theme.

Thanks for your help, Αndré.
