watermark images not working

i actually wanted to tag/watermark my pictures, already uploaded a little icon for it and set it up but everytime i upload a picture the tag icon is only on the sized picture, but not on the original (i've choosed 'both' on the set up) and when i choose original (where the watermark should be on) nothing happens too.
i've checked my friends gallery and made exactly the same that she did but its still not working for me.
