Yahoo host not ok for coppermine

do not use yahoo small business for coppermine

1.you are not allowed to upload file with . like .htaccess to prevent hotlinking etc.

2.no access to php.ini

very small php memory limit - you have to do some tricks to be able to upload big files

3.can not download folder just files - you can download folders only with ftp and takes hours for big folders

no backups just snapshots backups that saves last changes to site files

4.no options in the file editor like search x word in a file you try to edit.

5.can even take 24h for suport team to answer your email.no chat support

6.can not delete the wildcard just to edit a little

7. no options like compress, permissions, search for the folders and file - just move,copy,rename, delete 

8.plugins may not work because of their many "no access" and limitations

9.many other that I do not remember now

10.they have only a few and very simple options


yahoo is ok for simple html and css pages no scripts like coppermine , drupal etc.

the only good thing is that the server is good.

never find my website down or broken but it is a small gallery
