Hello everyone, I was wondering if anyone can help me with my issue. I have a coppermine gallery and when i try to add a new user i get the following error:

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /Photos/usermgr.php on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Can someone please help me figure this out and how to fix it? Thank you!

gmc

nichelle,
Please post a link to your gallery... It often helps us to be able to see at least the basic configuration...

Is your webhost Linux or Windows OS?
What permissions are listed on the file Photos/usermgr.php?  How do they compare to other files in the same directory?

A 403 error is from your webhost rather than from Coppermine - but the above might help identify the problem.
Thanks!

Hi,

Sorry here is the link http://janet-fan.com/Photos/ and the webhost is Linux and permission is set to 755.

When I try to access usermgr.php on your site - I get the CPG message that I am not authorized (as expected).
I don't get the 403 error.

May want to try clearing browser cache? Perhaps an old error is left there??
Thanks!

Hi,

I get the error when trying to add a user or edit a user, Once I click ok. I tried clearing my cache but that didn't work.

Obviously I can't go that far without admin login (and please don't post that here...)
It's going to be an issue for your webhost to help with I think... I would try contacting them and see if the system logs can point to a cause...
Greg
Thanks!
