First I appreciate the volunteer work of the developers and moderators

Good evening, I explain the problem and context. I have had a Coppermine gallery since 2008, about 50,000 images are posted there. My hosting disappeared (unlugar.com) and it worked with cPanel, and my new hosting (SiteGround) does not use cPanel and did not allow me to upload my database, as it had before.
They have created a new database name for me, and users, without my being able to modify them.

Those of the new hosting have told me that they inserted my original database, in the new one.

For which we have changed the data in the file:
config.inc.php <Include
database username,
database password,
database name

Once that is done this happens here:
https://galeria.bus-america.com/

First it throws me this message:
"Coppermine Photo Gallery seems not to be installed correctly, or you are running coppermine for the first time. You'll be redirected to the installer. If your browser doesn't support redirect, click here."

and then it goes to the screen:
"Fatal error: require_once (): Failed opening required 'include / database // install.php' (include_path = '.: / Usr / local / php72 / pear: /home/customer/www/galeria.bus-america.com /public_html:/home/customer/www/galeria.bus-america.com/public_html/include ') in /home/customer/www/galeria.bus-america.com/public_html/install.php on line 396 "

I don't know how to fix it, or how to locate my problem.

I appreciate you can guide me in the solution

Best regards

Alejandro

config.inc.php < Include
database username ,
database password ,
database name

Una vez hecho eso ocurre esto aquí:
https://galeria.bus-america.com/

Primero me arroja este mensaje:
"Coppermine Photo Gallery seems not to be installed correctly, or you are running coppermine for the first time. You'll be redirected to the installer. If your browser doesn't support redirect, click here."

y luego pasa a la pantalla:
"Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required 'include/database//install.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/php72/pear:/home/customer/www/galeria.bus-america.com/public_html:/home/customer/www/galeria.bus-america.com/public_html/include') in /home/customer/www/galeria.bus-america.com/public_html/install.php on line 396"

No se como solucionarlo, ni como ubicar mi problema.

¿Alguna idea?

Saludos cordiales

Alejandro

All my Siteground accounts (shared hosting) have cPanel. Is it a VPS account?

If you are willing to PM me with credentials to access the account, I will see if I can sort out the issue(s). I'll also setup file and database managers for you.

BusAmerica

Thanks you very much Ron for your offer of solution.

I sending a personal message to you, with the username and password.

SiteGround, created a personal panel "Site Tools". Now the new clients working only with "Site Tools". I don't know when they replace cPanel for all of clients.
My account it'snt a VPS, is a Hosting web "GoGeek".

Thanks you very much, again
Best regards

Now that your gallery is (mostly) working, I think there is probably an issue with database character sets. Unfortunately, I don't have good answers for this. Others have had that sort of issue when moving their database, but I don't think any have documented what the solution is.

BusAmerica

Thanks you so much Ron.

The gallery working, and that's a lot!
In the first visit, I see all comentarys, and the archives (with o with out photographs)

I'll see if there are any missing photo files. If it is that, I will indicate it here, and if it is something else too.
Well, in what I am seeing the only thing missing are some images (nothing more and nothing less)

Thanks Ron again

Good night

Now, at 00:24 am (16/5/2020) Buenos Aires hour, the section "Galería" is broken. The message:
"Coppermine critical error:
Unable to connect to database !

MySQLi said: : "

Appears.

I only did go to
setting > gallery suspended.

But when I did that, the gallery working good (18 / 19 hs of 15/5/2020)

Is there someone else working on things at the site? Somehow the database password was changed. I changed it back to what is in include/config.inc.php.

BusAmerica

Thanks Ron.

In the site only me upload images.
And I tried to change de database password, but don't broke gallery with this.

Then, the SiteGround support it communicates and tries sporadically to access my ex hosting (unlugar.com) and informs me that the database is not there.
Yesterday he answered my question of very days ago.

Now I'll upload all files that I can rescue of my ex hosting

Thanks again, and best regards

PD: I see the CPG sistem repair, has lots and more folders.
In the future, the new version comes with these changes?
