Hi Guys,

I tried to search for this problem before posting but could not seem to find anything.

I have upgraded to 1.3 from 1.2 and it all seemed to go well...  ( http://www.warpgate.co.uk/index.php )

But when you drill down to see a picture, the image does not seemed to be scaled so it blows the template all out of line.
I think the problem is in displayimage.php but am not too sure how to fix it... (Limited php knowledge)

It was fine before the upgrade, (I ran the upgrade.php and it all came back ok)

Its as if the itermediate pictures are not correct. before the upgrad it was okay...

See http://www.warpgate.co.uk/displayimage.php?album=lastup&cat=0&pos=0 for an example of what its now doing) don't worry this is not an adult site just a site full of belly buttons !!!

You will need a username and password (just user copper & copper)

Any help would be great

Cheers

Chris

please post a screenshot of your config page, the sections "Image view & Comment settings" and "Files and thumbnails settings" are of particular interesst. Did you update your theme as well (you can't use cpg1.2 themes with a cpg1.3.x install)?

Hi, Thanks here is the screenshot...

BTW - I have tried with intermediates off and on (with it on most of my images dont show, as I assume intermediates were off from the start, so they have never been made)

Also this is the new theme file that came with 1.3.1 all I have done is add in my banners at the top and the bottom...

Cheers

It appears you uploaded this aprticular pic before you enabled the creation of intermediate pics. On your server, there is http://www.warpgate.co.uk/albums/userpics/IM000127.JPG and http://www.warpgate.co.uk/albums/userpics/thumb_IM000127.JPG, but no http://www.warpgate.co.uk/albums/userpics/normal_IM000127.JPG
Use the admin tools from your admin menu to re-create the intermediate pic. Report back if this solves your issue.

I'm trying to resize, but even with as low as 5 images at a time I get random dropouts (the script just seems to stop and return half a valid HTML page with no continue button on the bottom?) any ideas what might be causing this or is there a hack to the util script I could do to make it auto continue so i could just set it at 1 at a time and it would continue without me having to click continue ???

I think you are correct in what you say though about the missing intermiediates... I just need someway of processing nearly 700 images 1 at a time <grin>

Argh.. its now driving me mad... 1 picture at a time, not sure if its my webhost or what...

Anyone know how I can hack the displayimage.php file to just use the original image and scale it down to fit.... without trying to use an intermediate image... this is how I assume it was in version 1.2.x as it worked fine before the upgrade.. (I dont want to role back as I want the new features of v1.3

I know I have been told the correct way above by GauGau (thanks my friend) but for some reason my util script keeps dropping out and I have nearly 700 phoos to do  ???

Anyone can help ?

I could really do with a dirty hack to display the full size image as the itermediate, as I can not seem to get the admin script to re-do all the images, it blobs out every now and then so I can not create all the needed intermediates... there is 600+ images to do and for some reason it just wont run the resizer in the admin.php script..

I need a dirty way of editting the displayimage.php script to scale down the big image to a maximum (but if the images is already smaller not to scale up... so I can not just use width="400" as this would scre up the images smaller than 400...

I'm getting desperte,

Any help please, I'm going for a coffee...

Thanks
