hello,

i use SMF beta 5 and coppermine 1.3.1

forum: 127.0.0.1/test/forum
album: 127.0.0.1/test/

when I launch the file "127.0.0.1/test/bridge/smf.inc.php" i have this error message

QuoteNotice: Undefined variable: CONFIG in c:\program files\easyphp1-7\www\test\bridge\smf.inc.php on line 558

The code of "smf.inc.php" is in attach file

You are not supposed to run the bridge file directly, make sure you know what you are doing before you attempt integration.

Percherie

I does not understand... that is necessary it to make for launching l integration? Where this finds information d integration for smf?

Joachim Müller

You start by reading the documentation that comes with coppermine. Go to your coppermine folder, browse the sub-folder "docs" and double-click the index.htm file in it. There's a guide that tells you how to integrate.

P.S. Posting links to your localhost doesn't mean much to us, except the thought struck me "another newbie trying to run his own server". You can play on localhost as long as you wish, but I strongly recommend not to make your local server's content available on the internet as long as you don't have a very, very good idea how to run your own server.

I do not speak English and I do not see which part speaks about l integration in SMF

Joachim Müller

Then ask a friend who does speak english to translate the bbs integration bit for you: http://coppermine.sourceforge.net/manual.php#integrating

I honestly can't see SMF in that list... sorry m8

Yes, you are correct, SMF is not mentioned in the docs, and they need updating.  But the bridge file is in the bridge folder, and the instructions for the other boards apply for SMF as well.  The extra bit needed for phpbb is not needed for SMF.

For your info, there are also bridges for mambo and punbb currently under test.

EDIT, fixed and committed to cvs.
It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here
