I got CPG 1.3.1 standalone to read the users from pnPHPBB2 (actually it looks up the user from the cookie and varifies it via the nuke_phpbbs_users table) Intergration is very good. But user has to log into Messageboard or postnuke first.

Question..

The redirect scripts that run when one click on login in CPG1.3.1 is it possible to point them to the http://www.domainname.com/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=login

If this has been discussed on the new coppermine CMS boards please forgive me. But Work blocks them for some reason.

Take a look at the functions udb_redirect and udb_login_page in the bridge file. These control what happens when you click login.

How about Group redirection?
The link to user group in my CPG direct to index page of phpBB. Where I must do to redirect the link on memberlist page of phpBB?

(Sorry, for my bad English)

[:| @DiG : don't try to hijack threads!

I'm sorry, but I don't undestand what you mean?  ???
Can you explane?

Joachim Müller

the target address for the memberlist is not related to login/logout redirect, so your question deals with something else. This thread has been started by Igoruij, so he sort-of "owns" it. Solving his problem has priority - if you post a non-related question on "his" thread, you're trying to "hijack" the thread.
In other words: stop posting on this thread at all! Instead: search the board, this has been asked before.

ok I solved my problem...

I just installed coppermine for CMS...

but i did have it working well with the pnCPG2.1 from the board but wanted closer integration.

thanks all.

Igor.

DiG

Now I understand what you mean for "hijack". I thought it's the almost same problem.
I'm sorry Igoruij I didn't want it.

For you GauGau I would advise to be more patient to users. You are not the God so behave decently!  >:(

Gaugau was behaving decently.  He simply explained to you the board rules, and asked for you to respect them.

The rules are there for the benefit of everyone, not just the supporters.  It is posts like yours that are not 'decent'.
It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here

DiG

I just want to find answer for my question. That's all.
Sorry that I don't understand your rules. As I wrote:

No problem, I'll simply ignore your question then ::).
I am indeed no god, nor did I try to appear god-like - I just told you not to hijack the thread and after you posted you didn't know what thread-hijacking is I told you.
A board that is meant to be a knowledge base for coppermine users needs to be organized, so people who look for support and search or browse the boards can find answers to their questions easily. Not every user who posts a question on the board can see the need for organizing the board, most users just want their questions answered and leave. They expect to have a right on free support. This is where the supporters need to moderate: if users break rules that serve a purpose, they are told that they have broken a rule and are asked to obey the rules next time they post.
You come here, behave wrong and then post a flame - I recommend reviewing your attitude.

May I just ask you to show me the links for my question. (I tried to use the search but found nothing.  :-\\)
