I am relieved to know that 1.3 have incorporated the preferred way of listing the albums together with the categories they are in, so that when we are doing posting, it will be clearer and easier for us to decide which albums should the picture be place

However, I am still have some problems with this matter

Firstly ) my album of "Vietnam" keep coming to the top, although it should be listed after "T"

Secondly ) It is possible to list the albums and categories seperately? (Take a look at the picture) the mixting of albums and categories together seems confusing for me...

What do you guys think..

but I just realised that when you are editing the description of a existing picture and you tried to change the category it is in.. the drop down list will show the albums being arrange according to albums, Main categories, sub categories and albums (this is good and clear!)

however when we are posting new pictures, the drop down list will be listed according to A-Z, mixing all ablums, categories and subcat all together and that is rather messy

It is possible to standard the way it list the folders?

albums that are in no category will show first. There is an issue if you have nested categories - only the sub-cat the album is actually in will be displayed. The dropdown list is not perfect, it's a step in the right direction. You're welcome to come up with better code for it.

QuoteSecondly ) Is it possible to list the albums and categories seperately? (Take a look at the picture) the mixting of albums and categories together seems confusing for me...

I'm working on a DHTML version to use select boxes to seperate the categories and albums. Example: http://www.onlinetools.org/articles/accessibleinter/ The goal is to have it broken down so that when you select a particular category it populates the next select field listed with either sub-categories or albums...

Category1   =>   album1
           =>   album2
Category2   =>   album1
           =>   sub-category1   =>   album1
                                =>   album2
Category3   =>   sub-category1   =>   album1
                                =>   album2
           =>   sub-category2   =>   album1

It might take me a while since it's not high priority on my build list. If anyone has a simplier hack, I would be very appreciative of it. As it takes a while to scroll through lots (200+) albums seperated across several categories... Will post MOD once I get implemented.

@skybax: this would be very nice, I'm looking forward to your hack.

I just posted another mod that solves this problem. I am very happy with the way the pulldown looks now. Try it, tell me what you think.
