Upload problems

Hello,

this is my first problem (the second in update file)

I've installed the version 1.32 in local and the install was concluded very well.

On my site I've had this problem: impossible create file config.inc.php, after many tentatives (i've a public cartel on my site where the mode is open for write) I've uploaded my config file create in local with all the corrections, I've uploaded the database and the program seems ok

Question: Can I have problems with this procedure? How I can solve this error? This problem:

Hello,

I've had a problem of installation and I ve create the file config.inc.php manually on my site, you can evaluate if this is a rilevant problem.

I've write mode on the only "public" folder
I've put all the script in a subfolder called "albumfoto"
In my primary config file I've this declaration gived from my provider:
$public1="d:/inetpub/webs/fipsasnapoliit/public";
where fipsasnapoli.it is my site

this is the error that I have when I try my upload (in local is all OK)

Check permissions (CHMOD) on your /albums and /edit directories. Set them to 777 or 755 depending on your server setup.

The public folders have all the permissions. I upload other files with my script and all run very well

The first error you got (the config.inc.php file not being written during install) was caused becauce the webserver didn't have write access to the include folder. Your second issue is being caused because it doesn't have write permissions to the albums folder. The documentation says to set permissions (CHMOD). Although there's no CHMOD in WIndows machines, there are nevertheless permissions you need to set. On IIS, grant write access for a user called I_USR_hostname. I advice people not run thier own webserver at all if they don't know the basics; especialy IIS is known to be easily hackable if not configured properly.
